I’m Clare, an illustrator capturing the world around us
I'm Clare Hollingworth, Founder of Falco Creative and Birmingham-based illustrator and designer. My work focuses on the things I find endlessly worth drawing: nature, wildlife, history, and the places and stories that connect all three. I blend traditional craft with digital techniques, and I take the detail seriously, whether that's the texture of a feather, the grain of an old map, or the particular quality of light on an English landscape. Illustration, to me, is a way of looking at the world carefully enough that other people want to look at it too.

Good work comes from good conversation. I work closely with every client to make sure the finished illustration carefully reflects what they and their audience need.
Curiosity
Every project starts with research. I want to understand the subject I'm drawing, the audience it's for, and the context it's going into.

To shed light on topics by using visuals to explain things more clearly. To encourage the ease and accessibility of information, so that people can be empowered by knowledge and learning.

I take on projects I can deliver properly, communicate clearly throughout, and treat every brief as something worth getting right.
